OMEGA CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Our hearts are heavy with grief as we had to say good bye to our noble old soul Omega. In the last year we found out a tumor had grown next to his lungs and heart which ultimately debilitate him.
Omega was loved by everyone, staff and volunteers. He loved being around people and enjoyed very much his weekly walks while he could.
We will miss him and we always remember him with great love.
2012 – 2024
You know about “Dia de los Muertos” but have you heard about “Pet’s Dia de Muertos”. This past October 27 we commemorate and remember all of our beloved furry friends that have parted. Tradition dictates to build a small “altar” or shrine, put up their favorite food, toys so when they come to visit us again, they remember what a good life they had.

We remember dearly our resident dogs that left too soon this past year. We wish we could have found nice homes for them and live the happy life they only deserved. We can only hope we did the best we could for them, we provided all the love and care the couldn’t find before we took them in.
In loving memory of: Toffee, Lana, Bruno, Ernesto, Omega and little Charlie (the puppy dumped this month)
CHARLIE'S ANGELS RESCUE
Few weeks ago, a heartless individual dumped a litter of puppies right outside the sanctuary, three females and one male. The little male, we named him Charlie, was very weak and malnourished. Even with medical attention it was too late and sadly passed the day after he was taken in.
His sisters Kelly, Sabrina, and Gill survived, they were swarmed with ticks, fleas and parasites but overall, in relatively good health.
They will be ready for adoption next year but if you want to be the lucky family to take them in, feel free to send your inquiries.
